Tooling decisions are tied to the real assembly, including critical datums, visible surfaces, clips, bosses, ports and other functional interfaces.

During DFM and mold development, particular attention is given to controlled straightness and concentric bores, stable end connections and mounting interfaces, and smooth internal paths for cables or components. Material options include ABS, PC/ABS, PC, PA, POM, PMMA and other engineering resins selected for function and appearance. Final resin selection is confirmed against the customer’s functional, appearance, compliance and cost requirements.
